It is our belief that the praise teams at Bloomington Living Hope Lutheran Church are vital to its ministry. Through its music ministry, church members and visitors are encouraged to focus their praise and worship on their Lord. Consequently, the praise teams’ participants view their function as ministers of the gospel through music and song. Therefore, our members are responding to a call from God to render their service to Him.
God tells us that we are to worship Him “in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24). That is God’s desire for those who lead and those who are being led. There is no calling for “performances” and “showmanship” – only true praise and worship. Members strive continually through prayer and example to be pure of heart before God and others.
The vision of our praise teams is to maintain a musical ministry of excellence.
