The MOPS Experience equips women for the joys and challenges of their lives as moms. One key factor in the MOPS Experience is the relationships built within a group. Time and time again, MOPS moms share that the friends they make in MOPS are significant for this season of their life and on into their future. God created us for relationship! It’s one of the defining parts of being human.
Mothering if both an art and a science. It combines all of who we are to shape healthy, resilient kids. Mothering is so complex it requires both sides of our brain - not to mention our hands and feet, eyes and ears, mouth and (sniff, sniff) unfortunately, sometimes even our noses! During the 2010-11 MOPS year, we will explore how to use all of who we are to be the best mothers we can be as we explore together Momology: The Art and Science of Mothering.
The Bloomington Living Hope chapter of MOPS meets at our Living Hope location on the 1st Monday of every month starting again in September 2010. Childcare is provided during the meetings and registrations are taken throughout the year.
MOPS International exists to meet the needs of every mom—urban, suburban and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single and married moms—moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be! MOPS recognizes that the years from infancy through kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs.
MOPS helps moms through relationships established in the context of local groups that provide a caring atmosphere for today's mother of young children.
