Wednesday Bible Class

Our Wednesday Bible class for adults is held at 10:00 a.m. at Bloomington Lutheran School focusing on Joshua - The Lord's Promise Fulfilled. Behind the historical details and epic battles recorded in the Book of Joshua lies a covenant of grace - God's promise that He made with Abraham and his descendants forever. Although covering a time span of only about thirty years, the Book of Joshua points forward in time to another Joshua - Jesus of Nazareth - whose coming is significant forever. In this study you will learn:

  • the importance of the land promised to Abraham and its connection to and fulfillment in the coming Messiah;
  • the seriousness of sin as exemplified by the destruction of the great city of Jericho and of the inhabitants of Canaan;
  • the sweetness of God's grace as shown to those finding sanctuary in the cities of refuge and especially to Rahab and her family.

Everyone is welcome, join us any time!

Women's Bible Study

WinGS (Women in Gods Service) Bible study meets on Wednesday from 9:15 to 10:45 a.m. at Living Hope. Studying the book of Proverbs.

All ladies are welcome to join us for A Walk Thru the Life of Solomon - Pursuing A Heart of Integrity on Thursdays from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Bloomington Lutheran Church. Solomon was a man of extremes: wealth, wisdom, and wives - he had them all. But what we will also see in Solomon is a human weakness in fighting the pull of the world around us. As we pursue a heart of integrity, we will do well to receive warning, strength, and encouragement from God's Word, and we'd love to have you with us!

Come learn more about God and His amazing grace through our study, "God's Love: Knowing God through the Psalms." Each week will cover one Psalm and one comforting attribute of our Savior God. Once a month, the study will shift the focus to topical DVDs meant to remind us of the purpose of our lives within God's eternal plan.
