Sunday Morning Bible Class
Our Sunday Morning Bible Classes meet at 9:00 am at Living Hope and 9:15 am at Bloomington Lutheran Church.
We continue our walk through the New Testament with a study of 1 Timothy. Paul was writing to young pastor Timothy with words of encouragement that lay out God’s idea of ministry, God’s eternal love in Christ, and God’s direction for the life of every Christian.
This same class is offered on Wednesday evenings at Bloomington Lutheran Church (see below).
Wednesday Morning Bible Class
Our Wednesday Morning Bible class for adults is held at 10:00 a.m. at Bloomington Lutheran School.
We are studying I & II Kings which covers a period of about 400 years, beginning with the final days of David's reign. We will marvel at the splendor of God's temple, completed by David's son and successor, Solomon. From the height of such splendor, these books detail the sad history of how wicked kings committed sinful deeds and how a favored nation lost its spiritual moorings. While I & II Kings teach us what can happen to any nation that idolizes itself and turns away from God, the central theme will continue to be God's rich mercy in Jesus Christ. In spite of His people's disobedience, God remained faithful in carrying out the promises made to Adam and Eve to send a Savior!
You are welcome to join us for this interesting study at any time, even if you can't make it to each class. See you on Wednesday!

Imagine how Jonah felt when God called him to leave his home and preach to an enemy nation. The book of Jonah is relatively short (only four chapters), but we’ll take a good look at how the prophet’s challenges and joys can apply to each one of us. Contact the church office (952) 888-2475 for more information.

Men's Bible Studies
Tuesday morning Bible study for men is held at Bloomington Lutheran School from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m.
Continuing education is required in many areas of life. Our study involves a personal growth in the teachings of the Bible as laid out in the Lutheran Catechism. Through guided group discussion, we’ll see how what we learned as a child still has great value for our Christian lives as we apply these teachings to our Christian homes and lives. In addition, you are invited to join us for floor hockey at 7:30 am most Tuesdays.
There is also a Tuesday morning Bible Study for men which meets at Bloomington Lutheran Church from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m.
If someone asked you, “Who is Jesus?” how would you answer? In John’s gospel account, Jesus gives us eight different answers—eight different “I am” statements. In this study we will examine the “I am” statements of Jesus and exactly what he meant (and what it means for us) when he spoke these famous words. .
